Supra Has A Deathwish
This season Supra and the boys from Baker come out with the Deathwish pack which has a really dope clothing line to come out with it. The homies Ellington, Greco, and Dixon doing it the right way with this collabo. Keep an eye out for these.
And to keep things fresh and livestock friendly is the Vegan pack which features 100%canvas uppers that include the Dixon, Thunder Lo, Thunder and the Diablo 1.5. (Remember sheep shoes w/ Ed Templeton? one of the earlier skate shoe companies to produce a vegan friendly shoe).

Vans Vault Store
Vans' Vault division (The upper scale division of Vans) has just opened a pop up shop over at Conveyor in Fred Segal Santa Monica. If you didn't know, Vans Vault can only be purchased at finer boutique shops around the globe. One of my favorite artists, Taka Hayashi, has taken over the reigns over at Vault so you know the stuff is outstanding. Artwork and designs courtesy of Mr. Hayashi himself. Expect some great shoes coming out of this Vault!
Check the shop if you're in the west side.

Diamond Life
Diamond Supply Co.'s Nicky Diamond just released a sample pic of an upcoming shoe releasing "whenever" as a release date is not yet determined, if any. Remember the last time he posted a pic of an upcoming shoe? ("Tiffany" Nike Dunk sb's). It was an epidemic.
I don't know much about the shoe but Nick claims that it's his interpretation of Vans, Chuck Taylors and Gucci shoes all in one.

Oh, It's the Reynolds
Emerica Reynolds 3 was spotted on the cover of photography book Click. Cool! (The Reynolds 1 was one of the best skate shoes of all time btw)

Nike Dunk Hi Eric Koston?
A new pic release of Mr. Koston holding up some nice black/white/gum sole dunk hi's. The new Koston shoe or another extra $10 on top of box price? I think that's rhetorical. (Because as you know, every decent colorway Nike SB comes out with comes with a "premium" label as an excuse to charge us an extra $10).

"Where's my money Chico!"
If Chocolate Skateboards was Voltron, Chico Brenes would be the head. One of the OG-est down to earth dude on the block. He's been on the block for a hot minute now with no plans on stopping as the team captain over at the L-R-G skate team. Look out for the L-R-G skate dvd, "Where's my money Chico". In the meantime, check out his new kicks and clothing line from DVS and the L-R-G X Chico Brenes DVS kicks collabo.

Cons skate Stussy Las Vegas Exclusive
Always love coming to Vegas and showing love to the peoples at Stussy Las Vegas. Just got word a few days ago of a special exclusive release from Cons skate at the Stussy flagship store in Las Vegas. Available now. Check it.
Cons CVO
Cons Sea Star
I'm a big fan of the Cons skate line. They are really really chill shoes. I also like the fact that they're only available at finer skateshops (let's hope they leave it that way).
So if you're going to be in Vegas in the next couple of weeks, don't gamble away all your money and cop a pair of exclusives (or you can always drop by Undefeated which is right next door). Drop in and show some love anyways. Big ups to the Vegas crew who are always cool to talk to and give some local Vegas insider tip.
Here's another insider tip: They do phone orders!
Hit em up at:

HUF X Nike SB Round 2
It's funny to me that Nike SB is doing the collabo with HUF as a store and not Huf the skater because obviously he skates for DVS. The cats at HUF have been busy this year, whether it be Kieth himself or the HUF store team (proven by the fact that the two times I've ever step foot in the store, nobody was/is ever working behind the counter).
After the release of some nice Vans old skools, HUF takes it up a notch with the buttery Nike SB collabo. The second collabo since the dunk hi's a few years back. This holiday season we will see the drop of the skater popular Nike blazer sb (Not so much anymore price wise with the $70 box price)
Taking the Chuck Taylor/pro keds aura or feel while still maintaining the classic Nike blazer silhouette.
Something uniquely different from HUF. Not sure whether these will be a HUF exclusive drop but count on it.

The Mall Grab
Last week I grabbed dinner at the newly renovated Westfield Culver City Mall to find this to my amazement.
Let me start off by saying that I was never down with Brooklyn Projects. I came into the shop a few times on Melrose but never bought anything from there. There was always a feeling of unauthenticity whenever I visited the shop and this "action" just put all those feelings to life.
The mall skate shop? What is the purpose of the mall skateshop if it isn't to reep the essence of skateboarding and it's culture and taint it. Whether it be financial or financial or financial, what other purpose could you possibly have to support your motive of opening shop in a middle class shopping center?
For those that are not familiar with Brooklyn Projects, it is a high profile skate shop owned by ex- 80's Mtv VJ, Dom Deluca. Not a skater, but probably like everybody else, was fascinated by the culture. Hence, opening a skateshop in Hollywood. It's high profile clientele include Baker, DC, Nike sb, Crooks & Castles and the Hundreds. I don't even know who skate for them but they're probably popular with the high school kids at Fairfax High being right next door.
When I saw this, I said to myself, "There goes the neighborhood". The brands and items that you once loved because it was unique ( that being that you can only get them at your neighborhood local skateshop) will now readily available to mall-grabbers everywhere.
If you are a rep for any of the companies listed on the banner. Please consider pulling your acccount from Brooklyn Projects. Especially you Nike sb and Cons. I could give two shits about the hundreds, Gooks & Castles and the rest of the non-skate companies that don't represent shit.
Please don't represent this store as this store does not represent you.

Vans X HUF Old Skools
Kieth Hufnagel's brand of retail HUF will once again release a new Vans collabo this upcoming month. This time around is my favorite classic lo top old skools that will be getting the HUF treatment. Three mono-tonal colors of the old skools is a win win situation.
Look for these to drop 10/17 at HUF stores in SF and LA.
