Vans were made down the street in Orange County, USA! I miss that a lot.

New Goods from Nike SB
Some upcoming goods from Nike SB. Nice to see some normal colorways. I say simplicity is always a winner. The first kick is new colorway from Nike's current hottest seller, The Janoski. With what looks like an all white perforated leather Janoski, keep an eye out for these to hit shops this summer.
These Nike Dunk Highs are from an Eric Koston inspired pack which features colorways inspired from Buddhist temples in Thailand. Being Thai himself, Frost represents for his.
These general release Dunk Highs are my favorite upcoming kick from the bunch. Keeping it simple yet "dope" with a colorway that works well. This should be out within the next month or so.

Vans Syndicate Ballistic Pack
So far this year we've seen Syndicate take on the classic black old skools and sk8 hi's for Andy Kessler. The next Syndicate shoe will take the form of the TNT II mid (beefed up on steroids and PCP). The new TNT "s" will feature the most tech of tech components featuring:
- Outlast® temperature regulating lining that keep the foot cool when it's hot. A PU foot bed with ImpactSorb™ Durable cushioning that prevents heel bruising. EVA midsole heel cartridge with Boardfeel XD construction for best feel, durability and grip.
- TecTuff Bulletproof Leather overlays that is wear test approved.
-CORDURA® underlays (look up Cordura if you don't know what it is. It means business)
Not to mention the Multcamo technological design for the camo version. Syndicate is using the technology used to defend nations into this skate shoe. The best materials and the best technologies should make for the best skate shoe. Makes sense right?

New Lakai Spike Jonze Commercial
Check out the new commercial from Carroll, Rick and Spike for Lakai. Enough said. Watch.
Spike's got one hell of a twist flip.
Spike's got one hell of a twist flip.
zoom zoom brrrrrrruin.......
I knew they were going to "sb" the bruin before they even did the bruin. I feel it's a better skate shoe than the release of the blazer lows. However, I never knew they were doing this real dope colorway. Orange shoes are what's up. I'm expecting these right around the corner for a summer release. Check em' before you wreck em'.

Let's Start A Shoe Line. HUF 2010 Shoe Line.
Last years' annual Moat show @ the Skatepark of Tampa (SPOT) hosted some of the dopest names in the skate game including Nike SB, DVS, Etnies and Moat show virgins, HUF. Headed by non other than REAL's Kieth Hufnagel, San Fran's hippest skate boutique has expanded quite nicely with stockists around the country, multiple big time collabo's (Nike, Vans, JanSport, etc) and a new shop locale in Los Angeles.
So what's next? The shoe game of course. And not by collaborations, this time the boys at HUF are taking things in their our hand. As previewed last year in Tampa, HUF released samples of their upcoming line. As for riders? I myself don't know yet but I'll be sure to keep you updated. I love how Kieth named his store and brand from his name. Kids are walking around wearing his name on their hats! sweet.
With a lot of companies in the skate/street wear industry starting in house shoe factories (Element, Habitat, The Hundreds, etc), where does this put the real skate companies at? Now I'm no economist or business professional but I'm asking this question from a skater point of view. It seems that nowadays, kids aren't skating as much from when I was growing up. I'm guessing all the kids these days are technologically tied down with the X-box live or whatever. But what happens to the skate shoe companies? Start making flip flops and leg warmers? I sure as hope not. Remember Osirus' Storm? Are the same people who were responsible for that video responsible for this shoe???? Jerry Hsu was in The Storm.
There is really no conclusion to my observation. It's just my observation. Like I said, I'm not an economist or sociologist. All I can say is support your own. Support the cause and keep it real. Peace.
