The Next Best Thing

Last month I got a shipment of Vans Old Skool Re-issue 92's (sorry been lagging on the posts). A few posts ago I blogged a "Remember when" post about how Vans used to be made in USA and the quality of the shoes were so much better. Well, these 92' reissues are the closest that you or I will ever get to those again. For those that were born in the 90's, I'm sorry you didn't get to experience this awesomeness.

If you're wondering what the difference between the regular old skools and these 92, Re-issues are, well, to sum it up in one word; Quality. The 92' Re-issues are done by the Vault crew which in my opinion make the best quality Vans shoes than any of the other Vans groups. The uppers, sole and cut are perfect (never sloppy like the other general Vans) not to mention the nostalgic aspect of the shoes.

The black/white old skool re-issues were created in a pack to commemorate Ray Barbee's career in skateboarding in conjunction with Vans footwear throughout the 20 years of their relationship. These Vans old skools are a one of Ray's favorite shoes to the specifications of that time, the early 90's. Even the box gets the re-issued flare.

The navy/white old skools gets the Supreme NY twist in form of snake. It's just like that pepsi and mountain dew throwback, they don't make them like they used to. Let me add to my statement and say they don't make them as good as they used to. Peace.
